From 19th March to 22th March, Zulfadhli A. Rahman along with his companions, went to SOAS College for a motivational on how to be an aspiring leader.
Zul's remarks:-
It ain't an easy job being an aspiring leader. You've gotta take on those challenges and overcome with it. It seems like even my best friend named Mirza Irsyaduddin Yusof, was going against me rather than with me. After all I'm voted for the leader of SMR group. That's when I started to meet the leader of SMSUA group, and signed treaty so SMR and SMSUA should work together for future Brunei.
For 3 days 2 nights, I gain many experiences there. First, I met local artists Hans Anwar and Lo Ryda giving a motivational speech (Hans biggest motivation is "Challenge Yourself before You Challenge Others". There goes the free concert where Hans made his song "Hujan Barai Barai" became the official theme song of the campaign episode.
Then I tracked down to the Health Administration, where I won an award on smoking quiz! There's a lot of coral stuff in there, concerning about your diet. Perhaps the most fun (yet explicit) is that both Mirza and I ruined the reproduction centre! It was a total chaos! Gee, we're all hiding at the door which leads us to a structure which looked like a mother's womb. Then, we enjoy the plasma TV showing how the zygote becomes a foetus ready to be born.
After that, I went to Tasek uhh .... forgot the name, anyway, I helped Planet Earth to maintain it's beautiful nature. The sad thing was the gate to the resevoir was closed? That's our destination! Darn. We went back to SOAS College.
Another best thing is that I discovered the existence of Planet Saturn with my very own eyes ... and of course a telescope needed. Why, I'll show you how. There's the Astronomy Department visiting us today, talking about the Solar System and it's beauty. I learned that the Solar System was formed from a supernova 4.6 billion years ago. For minutes later, another quiz was taking place, where I participated and won another award! When everybody else was taking dinner, I went outside the college, and some astronomers fixing the telescope. The astronomers were happy that it's working, so I took a peek on it. After the observation, I shouted "SATURN DOES EXISTS!". We just hope that an observatory in Tutong next year will lead us to another great dimension.
"Recall". Perhaps the most emotional part of the campaign. Led by Brother Wandi, he told us to close our eyes, what would have things become if there's no parents. A journey so heart-touching, almost everyone broke into tears, except us SMR. What Brother Wandi wanted to share was the importance of parents. I gave condolences to him that he lost his mother when he was a child.
Drama in the hall:
A lot of drama in the hall. We don't sleep at our built tents, instead, it's at the hall. Thank goodness a teacher from SMR named Mr. Kelvin guarding us tonight. Mirza and I had to share some space, I couldn't sleep well because of the noise saying "OI, TIDUR WAH!" followed by the film "Forbidden Kingdom" that plays in front of us. Mr Kelvin told us to relax, I used that advantage going to the toilet every night.
Prayer time, the "surau" had a plasma TV, once my fellow SMR mates joked about playing a game with it while the Imam is praying, like controling Imam's action. Then goes born the concept of us, making a new video game called "Imam Hero". Well ... I dunno what to say.
There's a lot of drama when I was in SOAS College, but because of my tiredness, I had to stop here.
